Conformational changes on interaction of cytochrome c with lipid monolayers.

DOI

The main objective of the present work is to gain an understanding of the interaction of the cationic protein, cyt c with anionic lipid membranes. This objective will be achieved via neutron specular reflectivity measurements of monolayers of anionic membrane, cationic lipid, exploiting the technique of contrast variation to highlight the various components of the systems under study. The detailed information resulting from these studies will aid in our understanding of the membrane ineractions of cyt c with anionic membranes.
