Small angle neutron scattering experiment of a novel pH and temperature sensitive polymer grafted to a magnetic nanoparticle core

DOI

The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of different stimuli on a novel iron oxide core shell nanoparticles. The system is composed of a magnetite core with a graft copolymer shell. The copolymer consists of a pH responsive backbone that has atemperature sensitive element grafted to it. Using small angle-neutron scattering we will examine the effect of temperature and pH on the structure of the copolymer using multiple core shell models.
