characterisation of muonium in functionalized acenes

DOI

We wish to measure the high field ALCs of a series of related functionalised acenes, to understand the role of the ligands on the electron spin relaxation, which is of significance for any theory of spin relaxation in organic materials and it will certainly help us understand the muonium states in these materials, which are not well characterised. Understanding the temperature dependent muonium states in these molecules will greatly benefit our estimation of charge carrier mobilities [3] in these molecules, which itself is a very topical issue. Furthermore, it will help us understand why the low field ALCs are a special case and therefore benefit the muSR community as a whole.
