Interfacial adsorption of single alkyl chain PC surfactants (CnPmC)

We propose to investigate the interfacial adsorption of a series of water-soluble single chain PC surfactants using neutron reflection, focusing on assessing the effects of alkyl chain and head group spacer length. Partial deuterium labelled samples are already available and will be used to improve the detailed structure inside the interfacial layers.
