Supplementary Material (Data): ARMA Models for Monitoring and Adaptive Control of Water Distribution Systems

This dataset contains the experimental results of the validation study on ARMA-based monitoring and influence of ARIMA model order on reacting function for resilience in water distribution systems presented at the 4th International Joint Conference on Water Distribution Systems Analysis and Computing and Control in the Water Industry, which was held in Paphos in May 2026. 16 separate cases were considered. The dataset contains one hdf5 file for each case with ten measurement runs each. The experimental configuration of each case is stored in the hdf5 files along with the measured values. For analysing the measured data, several resilience metrics are evaluated. The results are stored in the file data_260511_WDSA_CCWI_Paphos_2026_ARIMA_Corrected_Experiments.pkl. Two JSON files, eval_config.json and wdsa_ccwi_arima_eval_config.json contain metadata relevant for the analysis. The JSON file parameter_mapping.json contains a mapping from the measured variables to the UUID of the sensor with which it was measured. The file arima_model_orders_best_AIC.hdf5 contains the ARIMA model orders with the lowest AIC for each disturbance case that was part of the large-scale measurement campaign covering a wide range of disturbance types and shapes conducted on the test rig for systematically determining the general-purpose ARIMA model order.
