Structure of aggregation of peptide surfactants: effect of the size of amino acids in the hydrophobic chain region

DOI

Peptide surfactants are a group of interesting biomimetic amphiphiles capable of forming a range of nanostructures. The aim of this work is to use SANS to determine the transition of nanostructures caused by the increase of hydrophobic amino acids in the hydrophobic tail region. Previous studies of nanostructuring of A6K and A9K using SANS proved to be very fruitful.
