River and stream bacterial communities in a large urban-to-rural watershed

This study evaluates bacterial communities from rivers and streams in the Milwaukee river watershed, a large mixed land use watershed. The goal was to determine how microbial community diversity and composition related to traditional ecological and human health relevant water quality indicators.
