A clinical examination of a subgroup of women in the Swedish mammography cohort living in Uppsala was conducted between 2003 and 2009. The cycle of re-examination for this group started in year 2015 and is ongoing. For women living in Västerås a clinical examination were conducted between 2010 and 2019. The re-examination for women in Västerås is pending but the aim is to start during 2022. In connection to the clinical visit the participants have filled in health and lifestyle questionnaires, and blood, urine, faeces and adipose tissue has been collected at the visit together with functional tests (e.g. memory test, gait speed and muscle strength) and biometric measures (height, weight, body composition). Women participating in the health examination 2003-2009 have been invited to revisit the clinic for a second health examination. The helath examination includes measurment of weight, height, waist, hip and blood pressure and sampling of blood, urine, faeces and addipose tissue. This follow-up is since January 2015. Apart from a diet, health and lifestyle questionnaire the second round also includes a one-day food diary and a cognitive interview.

En grupp kvinnor ur svenska mammografikohorten boende i Uppsala eller Västerås har deltagit i en klinisk studie. Första besöket till kliniken för Uppsalakvinnor gjordes mellan 2003 och 2009 med en runda uppföljningsbesök påbörjat 2015. Västeråskvinnor gjorde ett första besök till kliniken mellan 2010 och 2019, uppföljningsbesök har ännu inte påbörjats men förhoppningen är att en sådan runda kan påbörjas under 2022. I anslutning till besöket får deltagarna fylla i hälso- och livsstilsenkäter och under besöket tas blod-, urin-, avförings- och fettvävnadsprov, funktionella tester (t ex minnestest, gånghastighet och muskelstyrka) och biometriska mått (längd, vikt, kroppssammansättning). Utöver frågor om kost, livsstil och fysisk aktivitet inkluderas också en en-dags kostdagbok och en kognitiv intervju vid denna uppföljning.
