Functional projections in analytic languages

The data were collected in the context of an NWO project (2008-2012) in which Sinitic languages were compared with Kwa-languages. The data are all sentences from languages belonging to these language families.The ultimate aim of the project is to find out whether there are such things as "analytic languages" and, if so, whether the nature of such languages has anything to do with the nature of the functional categories they realize or with the way they realize them.
