Study of the interaction of thermoresponsive nanogels with model skin

DOI

Skin is an important site for drug delivery. However skin, the stratum corneum which is mainly composed of mixture of lipids, cholesterols and fatty provide a barrier for drug penetration. In these proposal, we would like to investigate the interaction of a thermoresponsive nanogel drug carrier with an mixed lipid monolayer of ceramide lipid/cholesterol/ fatty acid which can closely mimic the intact skin.
