Hydrochemistry at time series station Helgoland Roads, North Sea, in 2023

In 2023, the hydrochemistry of surface water was monitored at Helgoland Roads station on every workday, typically before 9 a.m. Temperature was measured on board immediately after sampling. Visibility was measured immediately on board using a Secchi Disk. Salinity, dissolved inorganic nutrients, pH and oxygen were measured from a bucket sample in the laboratory. The photometer, with which the nutrients have been analysed, has been replaced. Until 2023-08-16 device "Spectrophotometer, Hitachi, U-1100" with link https://registry.o2a-data.de/items/12101 has been used. From 2023-08-17 onwards device "Spectrophotometer, Varian, Cary 4000" with link https://registry.o2a-data.de/items/12104 has been in use.
