The purpose of Census 2002 is to collect data concerning inhabitants, families, households and dwellings for planning future necessities, decisions and trend on Slovenia's different territorial levels and different social groups (see https://www.stat.si/popis2002/si/default.htm). Public Use Microdata Sample : 5- Percent Sample of Individuals, Dwellings and Buildings is available for students and researchers primarily, who would like to explore more complex relations among variables. Data is anonymised for public use. Integral data is accessible under certain condition directly from SURS. Three data sets are available in this collection: individuals, dwellings and buildings. Data on region, daily and permanent migrations, education and work, family and household situation are available on persons level. Dwellings are described by region, ownership, physical properties, supply and communication installations, and source and installation of heating. Buildings are described by type, number of floors, dwellings, construction material used and year when constructed.
