Supporting Data for: Calanus finmarchicus hydrolysate improves growth performance in feeding trial with European sea bass juveniles and increases skeletal muscle growth in cell studies

DOI

This data set contains the gene expression results (RT-PCR) from an experiment that aimed to investigate the growth-promoting properties of a novel protein hydrolysate of the marine zooplankter Calanus finmarchicus. Bioactivity studies with salmon skeletal muscle cells treated with calanus hydrolysate were performed. The cells were analysed for viability and proliferation, and how the peptides affected the expression of muscle-specific genes myf5, myod1a and MHC. Cell studies were performed by Nofima during 2021.
