The research focused on the ways of teaching Mathematics and Slovene lessons and on the social and emotional response of students during the second transition of Slovenian schools to distance education due to the covid-19 epidemic. The researchers explored the predominant ways of distance learning through the perspective of students in 6th and 9th grade elementary schools. At the same time, they explored some of the personality traits and skills of students relevant to coping with the challenges of the epidemic: psychological resilience, self-management skills, and student self-efficacy. The researchers also explored what the socio-emotional responses of students were, how they perceived support from parents, peers, and teachers, and some dimensions of their lifestyle during this period.
