"To whom it may concern,
I am emailing to inform the Sysselmannen of a historical site which we discovered during a recent expedition, which we believe was untouched since 1923. The remains are from the 1923 Merton College Arctic Expedition which we have just retraced and we are in possession of diaries and archive photos from the original expedition to confirm that they camped in this location. We are leaving Svalbard today but I am available to Skype if you want to discuss any details further.

Highlights include: several large wooden tent pegs, a primus fuel can lid and an OXO food can.
