Abundance estimates of mesozooplankton in multinet samples during POLARSTERN cruise ANT-III/3 (PS06)

During ANT-III/3 zooplankton samples were taken with multinets equipped with 200 µm and 300 µm mesh size. Samples were enumerated onboard. Copepods were counted separately and archived in other datasets (see section "Related to:"). The Parameter "Fraction" displays the fraction of the samples (10 or 20%) that was counted for all taxonomic groups except for Euphausiacea, Chaetognatha, Amphipoda and Gastropoda. The latter counted from the entire sample.
