De heer Blitz is van Joodse afkomst. Om te voorkomen dat hij zou worden gedeporteerd naar een concentratiekamp is hij eerst ondergedoken, later gevlucht. Toch is hij in Frankrijk opgepakt en naar concentratiekamp Sachsenhausen gebracht. Daar heeft hij gewerkt in de Heinkelfabriek.
