Ternary Molybdenum Carbonitrides for anion transfer catalysis; Structure, Mobility and Role of C and N.

DOI

We are undertaking a study of the mobility of nitrogen and carbon atoms in metal carbo-nitride catalysts, specifically in the cobalt molybdenum system: Co-Mo-C-N (where Co6Mo6NxCy is the principal compound of interest). The structural studies of this system are the principal area of interest for this in-situ proposal. Utilising the ability of PND on GEM/POLARIS we aim to distinguish between light atoms and accurately determine the position of the anions within the structure.
