The dataset contains the isotope compositions of dissolved Nd and Hf in surface waters. Nd and Hf isotopes were measured by Neptune Plus MC-ICP-MS. External reproducibility was monitored by internal laboratory standard solutions NIST 3135a and CGHF1, and USGS reference material NOD-A-1.

% removal fraction = (1-[Nd or Hf]measured / [Nd or Hf]conservative) * 100. [Nd or Hf]measured represents the actual concentration measured and [Nd or Hf]conservative represents the concentration expected from conservative two-endmember mixing for the same salinity.
