Bunschoterweg - Raadhuisplein Proefsleuvenonderzoek Warmtenet Arnhemseweg en Bunschoterweg-Driehoek, Ede

Fase II – Bunschoterweg – Driehoek Op 1, 4 en 26 maart 2019 is het traject van de Bunschoterweg vanaf de Kleefsehoek tot de Molenstraat en het oostelijke deel van de Driehoek onderzocht. De verharding was reeds verwijderd en op aanwijzen van de archeoloog zijn op vooraf besproken locaties proefsleuven gegraven binnen het tracé. Hierbij zijn uitsluitend op de kruising van de Bunschoterweg en de Molenstraat archeologische resten aangetroffen. Het betreft resten van bebouwing uit de Nieuwe tijd B-C. De vindplaats is als niet behoudenswaardig gewaardeerd, waarna de aanleg van het warmtenet verder kon plaatsvinden zonder archeologische begeleiding.
