The study was prepared in the period 2006-2009, in the framework of the first cycle of postgraduate studies of the signatory in the Department of History-Archeology of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens under the supervision of a three-member scientific committee (Hagen Fleisseris) . The subject of the study was the recording of the activity of the armed Eamic organizations (ELAS, OPLA) in Athens and Piraeus during the Occupation, 1942-1944, the description of the conditions of development of the resistance phenomenon, the geographical and social / class framework of the development of the Eamic organizations, the depiction of the social / class geography of the events of the period 1943-1944 in the area of ​​the capital and the search for the conditions for the registration of the action of OPLA in the collective memory. The edited version of the study was published in a book in 2012 by Foundation Publications.
