This dataset presents palynological data obtained from two sedimentary archives collected at the archaeological site of Altinum (Lagoon of Venice, NEItaly). The pollen record spans from the Bronze Age to the Roman period and provides information on past vegetation dynamics and human-environment interactions in the northern Venetian plain. Pollen grains and Non Pollen Palynomorphs (NPPs) were identified and counted following standard palynological procedures, and the dataset includes raw pollen counts and corresponding taxonomic identifications. These data contribute to the reconstruction of local and regional vegetation patterns and offer insights into land-use changes associated with the development and expansion of the ancient settlement of Altinum. The dataset supports paleoenvironmental and archaeological research focusing on landscape evolution, anthropogenic impact, and ecological transformations in the northeastern Italian lowlands during the late Holocene.
