Anti-Semitism in Austria – Snapshot Young People 2024 (SUF edition)

DOI

Full edition for scientific use. The Anti-Semitism Snapshot Study 2024 compiled by IFES is a continuation of the Anti-Semitism studies commissioned by the Austrian Parliament in 2018, 2020 and 2022. In the summer of 2024, a study was conducted on the attitudes of young people in Austria following the Hamas attack in October 2023. It analysed the attitudes of 16 to 27-year-olds, particularly with regard to the Middle East conflict. Possible correlations between the assessment of the conflict and anti-Semitic attitudes were also recorded. The results were compared with the data from the special evaluation on antisemitism among young people for the 2022 Anti-Semitism study in order to analyse changes since the attack.
