In oktober 2015 heeft IDDS Archeologie een archeologisch bureauonderzoek uitgevoerd voor een gedeelte van het Drongelens Kanaal in Waalwijk, gemeente Waalwijk. De aanleiding voor dit onderzoek is de herinrichting van dit gedeelte tot ecologische verbindingszone (EVZ).
