De geïnterviewde vertelt over haar jeugd en beschrijft de Japanse bezettingstijd. Zij zat toen nog op school. De geïnterviewde vertelt over haar familie en haar persoonlijke ontwikkelingen in deze periode. In 1958 is de geïnterviewde met haar gezin naar Nederland vertrokken.De echtgenoot van de geïnterviewde is ook geïnterviewd voor het SMGI-project.
