The International Crime Survey 1992 is a continuation of the ICS '89 with some additional questions. Experience of crime: being a victim of theft, vandalism (in particular with respect to cars, motorcycles and bicycles), burglary, robbery, consumer-fraud, sexual offences, assault. Seriousness ( damage ) and frequency of victimization, weapons used / reasons not to report to the police / In case of sexual offences, assault: need for specialized help agency for victims of crime / satisfaction with the local police / fear of crime in local area / crime prevention behaviour / preferred sentence for a 21 year old recidivist burglar. Background variables: basic characteristics/ residence/ housing situation/ household characteristics/ occupation/employment/ income/capital assets/ education/ consumption of durables.
