Binnen het plangebied zijn sporen aangetroffen die dateren uit de Romeinse tijd. Het betreft (paal)kuilen en greppels die wellicht behoren tot twee huisplattegronden. Ook is er een afvalkuil (S17) aangetroffen. Ook zijn er 75 scherven aardewerk aangetroffen die gedateerd kunnen worden in deze periode.
