De geïnterviewde vertelt over haar activiteiten voor het Vrouwenkorps-KNIL. De vrouwen van het Vrouwenkorps werkten verspreid over Indië. Ze werden ingezet waar nodig, ook bij Amerikanen. Ze weet niet of er samenwerking was tussen het Vrouwenkorps en andere Vrouwenkorpsen in Indië. De geïnterviewde gaat in op de gang van zaken bij het vrouwenkorps. Ze vertelt over de mentaliteit van haar man, die in Nederland door haar familie beschouwd werd als een landverrader.
