The dynamics and contribution of pioneer microbiota of marine invertebrates are largely unknown due to a lack of experimental models. To know pioneer microbiomes and/or first colonizers on each developmental stage of sea cucumbers, laboratory aquarium was used to track the dynamics of juvenile associated microbiomes based on meta16S analyses.
