Characterization of biological signatures of ribonucleotide incorporation in yeast genomic DNA

We applied the ribose-seq and Ribose-Map techniques to study biological signatures of ribonucleotide incorporation in the genomic DNA of budding and fission yeast. We found that the deoxyribonucleotide immediately upstream from the ribonucleotides has a strong influence on the distribution of ribonucleotides in genomic DNA.
