Subfossil chironomid (Diptera: Chironomidae) surface sediment sample dataset from Selin Co, Tibet

In total 132 surface sediment samples from the Central Tibetan lake Selin Co have been analyzed on their subfossil chironomid larvae head capsules. The chironomid assemblages are devided in three zones () along the water depth gradient.
