Archol heeft op 6 en 7 mei 2020 een archeologisch proefsleuvenonderzoek uitgeoerd in plangebied rioolzuiveringsinstallatie (RWZI) Panheel. Aanleiding voor het onderzoek waren de voorgenomen renovatiewerkzaamheden. Doel van het onderzoek was het vaststellen van de archeologische waarde van het terrein. Het onderzoek heeft geen archeologische resten opgeleverd. Archol heeft geadviseerd het gebied vrij te geven voor de beoogde ontwikkeling.
