The understanding of mechanisms responsible for the formation of Non-Fermi Liquid state (NFL) and its relation to unconventional superconductivity is among the largest outstanding problems in the modern solid state research. In this proposal, we propose to carry out zero-field and 100G applied field muon spin relaxation/rotation measurements between 50mK and 20K and field dependent study at various applied fields at 50 mK and 4 K on a non-Fermi liquid heavy-fermion Ce2PdIn8 compound. The exponent of the temperature dependence of the muon relaxation rate will provide information on the nature of interactions and its dimensionality. Further it has been expected to observe field dependence of musr spectra, which exhibit a field-time scaling for NFL systems. We request 2 days of beam time on MUSR spectrometer to carry out proposed study.
