Op 19 maart 2015 is naar aanleiding van het vooronderzoek een archeologisch proefsleuvenonderzoek uitgevoerd op het perceel Heerenweg 242 in Barsingerhorn, gemeente Hollands Kroon.Tijdens het proefsleuvenonderzoek zijn binnen de contouren van het nieuwbouwplan resten van drie verschillende begravingen aangetroffen.
