AMS radiocarbon ages of organic microinclusions extracted from the ice-wedge complex in the Duvanny Yar section

DOI

In 1985, samples were taken from the exposure located at +48 m a.s.l. (44 m above the river water level). In 1999, samples were taken in the upper part of the Duvanny Yar section during the highest position of the exposure at +55 m a.s.l. (49 m above the water level).AMS radiocarbon ages were determined of organic microinclusions extracted from the ice-wedge complex in different parts of the Duvanny Yar section. The AMS dating was carried out at Groningen (Head Prof. J. van der Plicht, lab code GRA) and Seoul Universities (Head Prof. J.-Ch.Kim, lab code SNU); described in Vasil'chuk et al., 2001, and Vasil'chuk et al., 2004.
