Thin-section data of calcareous algae from the Lakadong Limestone, NE India (eastern Tethys)

DOI

Taxa/biotic groups were classified as rare (R; if the element appears at least once), common (C; A-4 times) and abundant (A; >5 times). Coralline Distichoplax is dominant in the material but this is an enigmatic genus without full thallus reconstruction till date. Therefore, it is not possible to have any reasonable counts (so symbol D). Similarly encrusting alga Polystrata alba and indeterminate algal thalli and debris have been only shown as present/absent with the D sign.
