Das Projekt "Kosten und Nutzen der Berufsbildung aus der Sicht der Betriebe" ist eine repräsentative Erhebung zur Situation der Lehrlingsausbildung in Schweizer Betrieben, welche nun bereits zum dritten Mal durchgeführt wurde. Neben der Erfassung der Kosten und Nutzen, die sich aus der Lehrlingsausbildung für die Betriebe ergeben, werden auch die nicht-ausbildenden Betriebe befragt. Damit können wichtige Vergleiche zwischen ausbildenden und nicht-ausbildenden Betrieben vorgenommen werden. Die Analysen haben gezeigt, dass das Kosten-Nutzen Verhältnis für ein ausreichendes Lehrstellenangebot wichtig ist. Dieses Kosten-Nutzen Verhältnis wird - neben den betrieblichen Ausbildungsbedingungen und den Lernenden - auch von institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen beeinflusst. Für die effiziente Gestaltung dieser staatlichen Rahmenbedingungen und das Monitoring von Reformen sind aktuelle und gesicherte Daten unabdingbar. Deshalb müssen auch die ökonomischen Aspekte der Berufsbildung periodisch neu erfasst werden. Das Projekt wurde von der Forschungsstelle für Bildungsökonomie der Universität Bern im Auftrag des Bundesamtes für Berufsbildung und Technologie (BBT) und mit Unterstützung des Bundesamtes für Statistik (BFS) durchgeführt.

The project "Cost and Benefit of Apprenticeship Training from the Firm's Perspective" is a representative survey on the situation of apprenticeship training in Swiss companies, which has now been carried out for the third time. In addition to recording the costs and benefits resulting from apprenticeship training for the companies, non-training companies are also surveyed. This allows important comparisons to be made between training and non-training enterprises. The analyzes have shown that the cost-benefit ratio is important for a sufficient offer of apprenticeship positions. This cost-benefit ratio is - in addition to the training conditions and the students - also influenced by institutional framework conditions. For an efficient organization of these institutional framework conditions and the monitoring of reforms current and verified data are indispensable. Therefore, the economic aspects of vocational education and training have to be recaptured periodically. The project was carried out by the Research Center for Educational Economics of the University of Bern on behalf of the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (BBT) and with the support of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
