Transcriptomic Insights into the Role of Estrogen Receptor Downregulation via RNA Interference in Ruditapes philippinarum: Implications for Reproductive Endocrine Function

This study pioneered the development of a system for the long-term suppression of ER gene expression via RNA interference (RNAi). It also explored the critical role of the ER gene in the gonadal development of Ruditapes philippinarum, providing new insights into the molecular mechanisms influencing reproductive biology in bivalve molluscs.
