EMSO-Iberian Margin Cape St. Vincent observatory data (subsurface mooring) from Jun-Oct 2022.

DOI

The EMSO – Iberian Margin Cape St. Vincent mooring (IbMa-CSV) is a submarine observatory, located at the edge of the continental slope, 10 nm south of Cape St. Vincente, the SW tip of the Iberian Peninsula (36.848478 N , -8.927072 E). The observatory is comprised of three instruments. EMSO Generic Instrument Module (EGIM) (200 m) hosts a CT, acoustic-doppler current profiler, dissolved oxygen sensor, water pressure sensor and an optical backscatter sensors. Wave-powered vertical profiler Wirewalker operates from near surface - 150 m depth. It hosts a CTD, dissolved oxygen sensor, fluorometer and optical backscatter sensors.Teledyne RDI Sentinel V100 300 kHz Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) (200 m). This datasets contains observatory data, collected during the EMSO-PT Leg 2 Campaign, in collaboration with the R/V Mário Ruivo and Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera from June - October 2022.
