We propose to investigate the spin dynamics in the Ortho-II order YBCO6.5 superconductor at energies above 100 meV. This study will be aimed at searching for the broadening of the spin excitations recently discovered to exist in low hole dopings and suggested to be result of the decay of spin excitations into particle-hole pairs above the psuedogap. The pseudogap plays a large role in the cuprate phase diagram. Studying this effect in a higher doping will confirm its orgin and show that spin excitations can be used to study electronic excitations.
