Amphioxus is widely regarded as the most well-known living proxy for the chordate ancestor, to investigate the evolution of chordates, we performed Pacbio-seq, Hic-seq and RNA-seq for Asymmetron lucayanum and assembled the high-quality genome for further comparative genomics analysis.
