Ghent, paving expenses during the first half of the 15th century per locations - GIS layer (lines)

DOI

The paving expenses studied are those made by Ghent's city government during the first half of the 15th century (1401-1455). In this GIS layer, it is the number of mention of paving work per locations which is recorded. This GIS layer contains only linear locations, and only the locatable sites are visible. NB: during the 15th century, expenses are no longer registered per year but per month, which increases automatically the number of expenses since a paving site could be mentioned several time in the register if the work last more than one month. If one wants to compare them with the 14th century expenses, then it has to be done with proportions and not real numbers.
