In the scope of the AMPEDEK project, which aims to compile, harmonize, and evaluate geochemical, petrophysical, thermal, and mechanical rock-property data of Germany’s crystalline basement in order to improve the characterization of subsurface formations and support the assessment of potential host rocks for the disposal of high-level radioactive waste, a comprehensive database was established by integrating literature data, geological survey contributions, and new sampling and laboratory measurements. Attached are an extended abstract in PDF format and the corresponding database in Excel format (.xlsx). The extended abstract provides a concise overview of the project background, objectives, methodology, data basis, and the general structure and scope of the first release of the atlas, while the Excel file contains the associated structured database with the main measurement and literature data, including key sample-based parameters and their systematic organization.
