Community enrichment and isolation of bacterial strains for fucoidan degradation.</p><p>We sampled seawater and started an enrichment culture using articifial seawater and fucoidan as sole carbon source. From this enrichment, we samples metagenomes and isolated bacterial strains for genome sequencing.
