Aineisto koostuu Suomen kansallismuseon Suomen tarinat -näyttelyn tekijöiden haastatteluista. Aineisto on kerätty osana tutkimusta, jossa tarkasteltiin millaista kuvaa suomalaisuudesta on rakennettu virallisessa ja epävirallisessa historiakulttuurissa. Haastatteluissa selvitetään Suomen kansallismuseon Suomen tarina-näyttelyn tekijöiden näkökulmia näyttelyn sisältöihin. Haastatteluissa pyydettiin aluksi kuvailemaan näyttelyhanketta, sen lähtökohtia ja tavoitteita. Sen jälkeen haastateltavia pyydettiin kertomaan näyttelyn valmisteluvaiheesta ja suunnittelusta, sekä kysyttiin muun muassa, mitkä kaikki tahot olivat mukana näyttelyä suunnittelemassa ja millaista yhteistyötä eri tahojen kanssa tehtiin. Lisäksi kysyttiin esimerkiksi mahdollisista näyttelyn tekemiseen liittyvistä haasteista ja tutkimustiedon hyödyntämisestä näyttelyn tekemisessä. Haastattelujen lopussa kysyttiin myös mielipidettä Suomen kansallismuseon tärkeimmästä tehtävästä sekä sitä, millaiseen suuntaan haasstateltava haluaisi nähdä sen kehittyvän. Taustatietona on kerrottu mm. haastattelupäivä ja haastateltavan tehtävänimike. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla haastatteluja on helppo selata.
The data consists of interviews with the creators of the Narratives of Finland exhibition at the National Museum of Finland. The data was collected as part of a study that examined how images of Finnishness have been constructed in official and unofficial historical culture. The interviews explore the perspectives of the creators of the Finnish National Museum's Narratives of Finland exhibition on the content of the exhibition. The interviews started with a description of the exhibition project, its starting points and objectives. The interviewees were also asked for example about possible challenges in creating the exhibition and about the use of research findings in the making of the exhibition. At the end of the interviews, the interviewees were also asked for their opinion on the most important role of the National Museum of Finland and the direction in which they would like to see it develop. Background information includes the date of the interview and the job title of the interviewee. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD.
