Eelgrass Microbiome (eelgrass beds in Japan)

In this study, 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing was used to assess bacterial and archaeal diversity and dynamics of the PA (3.0µm<) and the FL (0.2µm>) fractions of four different eelgrass beds (Ikuno-shima Is., Nanao Bay, Mutsu Bay, and Futtsu). The aim of this chapter is to analyze the similarity in microbial composition between the PA- and FL- fractions and to discover key microbial groups in common among eelgrass beds
