Here we present the elementary composition [ln(Fe/K) and ln(Al/K)] from suspendend sediment samples for Negro, Solimões and Amazon Rivers (northern and south channels) during a full hidrological cycle. These elements cover the period from August 2021 to July 2022. The samples were collected during the ebb tide using a pump positioned at the midpoint of the water column. In the laboratory, the water samples were processed using a vacuum filtering system mounted with 0.45 μm cellulose acetate membrane filters. For each sample, 1.8 L of water was filtered through six filters to obtain a representative amount of suspended sediment. After acid digestion of each sample (HF, HNO₃, and HClO₄) in a microwave modular rotor (EthosUp®), the total element concentrations in the suspended sediments were measured by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
