Restriction Site -Associated DNA Sequencing Reveals Local Adaptation Despite High Levels of Gene Flow in Sardinella lemuru (Bleeker, 1853) Along the Northern Coast of Mindanao, Philippines

This project utilized genome wide single nucleotide polymorphisms to assess S. lemuru populations along the northern coast of Mindanao. Given that phenotypic variation was observed between NMR and NZP despite high dispersal potential, the hypothesis of genetic differentiation between these two adjacent regions was tested using both neutral and non-neutral markers obtained from restriction site associated DNA sequencing.
