16S rRNA Microbiome Sequencing of water samples

This study aimed to use 16S rRNA microbiome sequencing to investigate the bacterial population dynamics in an array of filtered water samples such as potable, surface, ground, marine, aquaculture, rain, wetland and swimming bath matrices. Furthermore, it was used to determine the presence of underlying waterborne bacteria with potential human, aquatic life and environmental health implications.
