Aspergillus fumigatus Velvet temperature response

In Aspergillus species, the Velvet complex is involved in modulating secondary metabolism and developmental changes in response to light availability. To test whether temperature modulates the behavior of the Velvet complex, we performed RNA sequencing on wildtype Aspergillus fumigatus as well as delveA and dellaeA. Strains were grown at 37C and at 30C and compared to find temperature-dependent gene expression changes.
